Marketing Tip: Add a coupon to your fliers. It will give the consumer a reason to hang on to your flier and also serves to let you know (through the return of the coupons) how effective your flier was.

There is a thin line between a brochure and a flier, but a flier is primarily an informal contact tool. Many times fliers are handed out to crowds as they pass to briefly inform the passerby of a product, service, or event. Fliers range from a simple white 1/2 letter sized sheet that may announce a new band opening at a nearby club to splashy full color mini-poster neatly tucked into the folds of your morning paper to advertise the big sale going on at your local department store.
